If you want to learn to skydive, you are not alone. USPA (United States Parachute Association) has over 33,000 memberships, and is still growing strong. Almost anyone can successfully complete a first jump, no experience required! The only requirements is that you are over the age of 18 years, and are in good physical health.

Tandem freefall jumping has made skydiving available to most people than ever before. This is because rather than having to take an all day training course, you can be ready to jump in as little as one hour! Tandem skydiving lets you experience the thrill of freefall jumping with the security of an instructor right there with you, able to point things out to you as you freefall and talk to you after the parachute is open. Tandem jumping is truly a "skydiving classroom in the air!". Pictures can also be taken, so you have a permanent record of your experience to show all your family and friends.

To pursue first-jump instruction, call Discount Sky Dive New Orleans, which is a USPA Group Member Drop Zone. USPA Group Members have pledged to follow the Basic Safety Requirements and Recommendations for student and advanced skydivers. We also offer first jump courses taught by USPA-Rated instructors.

Most parachutes are packed under the supervision of FFA Certified Riggers.
